Work With Us
Work with us
Established in 1831 by Charles Allen Young & Anthony Fothergill Bainbridge, Young’s has come a long way from making deliveries of our home-brewed pale ale on black Shire horses. With over 270 establishments and our award-winning design approach, we’re able to provide an excellent ambiance as well as fantastic service and locations. Our pubs and pubs with rooms have style and soul. The people who work for us have pride in our culture and a passion for the work they do. Our menus are as varied as our venues, serving delicious seasonal food that is sourced with a focus on British provenance. With our commitment to our community as strong as ever, we believe in developing our people which in turn helps provide unbeatable hospitality to our customers.
Here at Young’s we are passionate about being a socially responsible company and have a dedicated team committed to reducing the waste we produce. We support local farmers by using only British suppliers and produce, and we love having underutilised or wonky vegetables. We proudly support independent fisheries sourcing sustainably caught day boat fish, which has helped earn us the Food Made Good Top 20 Sustainable Business of the Year Award. You won’t find any plastic straws or plastic cups in our business, and both our Head Office and Kitchen teams aim to work completely paperless.
Training & Development
We pride ourselves on being industry-leading in all that we do, and a fundamental part of that is having Head Office, Management, Kitchen, and Front of House teams developing together and learning from each other through our career pathway.

Kitchen Teams
Our overarching food strategy focuses on delivering the best in class seasonal pub food, dictated by the British seasons. Our menus are focused on individuality which sets us apart from the crowd, at the heart of these menus are our 6 iconic classics and the quintessential Sunday roasts, apart from that it’s up to our chefs to create the rest of the menus, delivering every plate of food with a passion.
Developing our people is at the heart of everything we do. We’re fortunate enough to run our own apprenticeship programme and have our own state-of-the-art training kitchen, where we host monthly skills workshops to develop junior chefs on understanding the key fundamentals of cookery as well as their business skills to allow for all-rounded individuals of the future.
