We had a lovely 3 course lunch upstairs in the beautiful Woolsey Room at the Dukes Head to celebrate our Wedding. The room was the perfect size for our 30 guests and the food was delicious. Sofia helped us diligently before the event and the bar staff and servers on the day were excellent; attentive, professional and friendly, willing to accommodate all requests. Would recommend a large party here, but equally we will be back for a quiet pint and bite to eat!

I can’t thank Leanne, Gary and the rest of the staff enough for making my special day so special. The food was amazing and I was surprised by how quickly the room was turned over to accommodate the evening guests and DJ. I highly recommend the King Head for any function. They truly made everything special for me.

Absolutely brilliant day at my daughter and new son-in-law's wedding day. What a place - right on the River Thames. We were so blessed with the weather. Staff were amazing and everything went swimmingly. Food was perfect and beautifully presented. The staff were really so attentive and helpful. We will go back to this venue to have a meal. Brilliant day and thank you to everyone at The Oyster Shed.

Wedding of the year - The Oyster Shed

We rented the front of the bar for my parents 50th wedding anniversary (surprise!). It went so smoothly, thanks to the above and beyond service from Yiesha and Sav. Throughout the whole booking process Yiesha answered my every question and nothing was ever too much hassle. We had 45 people in the end and the venue size was perfect. The food was delish, everyone was well fed and satisfied (from the events menu we nearly doubled the serving quantities but it still worked out great value per person as everyone had 1-2 little plates full). The crayfish cocktail in particular got loads of complements. Very glad we chose the Firestables for our celebration.

We held our wedding party at The Duke’s Head a couple of weeks’ ago and had the BEST time. The pub looked beautiful, the staff were fantastic and the food was delicious. Jake who helped organise the whole thing was an absolute hero, he ensured everything was exactly as we wanted it and went above and beyond to give us the perfect party. If you are looking for a bit of a different wedding venue I would definitely recommend it. All our guests had a fantastic time!
